General Terms and Conditions
Article 1 – Definitions
Hooves and Woofs: the sole proprietorship Hooves and Woofs, based in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Customer: the consumer who enters into an agreement with Hooves and Woofs.
Article 2 – Applicability
These general terms and conditions apply to all offers, orders, and agreements.
Article 3 – Products
Hooves and Woofs supplies products that can be personalized.
The customer is responsible for correctly provided personalization data.
Article 4 – Prices and payment
All prices include VAT.
Payment is made in advance via one of the online payment methods we offer.
Article 5 – Delivery
The average delivery time is 3–7 working days.
Delays caused by carriers are outside the responsibility of Hooves and Woofs.
For large orders, we can contact you to agree on a suitable delivery time.
Article 6 – Returns
Returns are only possible in the event of an error by Hooves and Woofs.
Damage upon receipt must be reported immediately.
Article 7 – Liability
Products may be used functionally, including on animals.
Hooves and Woofs is not liable for wear and tear or damage caused by use.
Article 8 – Intellectual property
Designs remain the property of Hooves and Woofs unless otherwise agreed.
Commercial use is permitted with attribution.
Article 9 – Complaints
Complaints must be reported within 7 days.
A response will follow within 14 days.
Article 10 – Law
Dutch law applies to all agreements.
Privacy statement
Hooves and Woofs is a sole proprietorship established in the Netherlands and is responsible for the processing of personal data as set out in this privacy statement.

2. Personal data that we process Hooves and Woofs processes personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself. We process, among other things: - First and last name - Address details - Email address - Telephone number - Payment details (via Stripe) - Order details - Personalization details - Account details
3. Purposes and legal bases We process personal data for the following purposes: - Processing and delivering orders - Handling payments - Customer service and communication - Creating and managing an account - Sending newsletters (only after registration) - Complying with legal obligations
4. Sharing personal data with third parties Hooves and Woofs shares personal data with third parties only if this is necessary for the performance of the agreement or to comply with a legal obligation. We use Stripe for payments and external parties for hosting and shipping.
5. Use of social media
Hooves and Woofs is active on social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. When you visit these platforms, the privacy and cookie statements of these third parties apply. Hooves and Woofs has no influence on how these platforms handle personal data.
No social media plug-ins, tracking pixels, or embedded content are used on the Hooves and Woofs website. There is no connection between your website visit and our social media channels.
6. Retention periods Personal data will not be retained longer than is necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or as long as required by law.
7. Cookies Hooves and Woofs uses functional cookies. If analytical or marketing cookies are used in the future, consent will be requested for this.
8. Security Hooves and Woofs takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including SSL security and secure payment environments via Stripe.
9. Rights of data subjects You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict the processing of, object to, and transfer your personal data.
10. Complaints If you have a complaint about the processing of your personal data, you can contact us. In addition, you have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority via www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
11. Changes Hooves and Woofs reserves the right to amend this privacy statement. We advise you to consult it regularly.
